Haters, beware! Chidinma Vanessa Adetshina, the stunning model with a mixed Nigerian-South African heritage, has finally had enough of your racist nonsense. For weeks, she’s been subjected to a barrage of abuse and insults on social media, all because she’s not “purely” South African.
The trolls think they can get away with spewing their venom because Chidinma’s mother is South African and her father is Nigerian. Newsflash: Racism is racism, no matter where you’re from!
Taking to Twitter, Chidinma lashed out at her tormentors, slamming their ignorance and hatred towards Nigerians. “The hate on Nigerians is so pathetic and uncalled for… The insults I receive on this app is just too much…. Africans should live in peace and unity,” she wrote.

But that wasn’t enough to silence the haters. They kept coming for her, thinking they could get under her skin. Little did they know, Chidinma was just getting started.
In a bold move, she announced the deactivation of her Twitter account, giving the trolls the middle finger once and for all. “I’ve had enough of your hate,” she seemed to say.
The world needs more Chidinmas. Women who refuse to be silenced by toxic masculinity and racism. Women who stand tall in the face of adversity and fight back against those who seek to bring them down.
So, to all the haters out there, here’s a message: Chidinma may have won the battle, but you’ve lost the war. She’s a reminder that we’re all stronger together, regardless of our roots or backgrounds.
And to Chidinma, we say: Keep being your awesome self, girl!
