Emtee Goes Off on Label: ‘I’m Getting Fcked!’ Over Delayed Album

    _HERE COMES THE BOMBSHELL_

Emtee BLASTS Record Label Over Album Delay: “They’re Playing Me Like A Fiddle”

South African rapper Emtee has had ENOUGH of the runaround from his label over the long-awaited drop of his album _DIY 3_. Ready since September 2023, fans have been WAITING WITH BATED BREATH for the release of this highly anticipated project. But it seems like the label is playing him like a fool, stringing him along with EXCUSE after EXCUSE.

In a series of scathing tweets, Emtee UNLEASHED his frustration, calling out the lack of transparency and the constant games they’re playing him. “For the first time in a long time, I’m frustrated bruh. I finished recording my album in September 2023 and till this day I’m waiting, and the crazy part is, there’s always an excuse why it can’t drop. Bet they gonna start blowing up my phone and start playing reverse psychology on me,” he tweeted, highlighting the mind games he feels are being played.

But it’s not just the excuses that have him fuming – it’s the complete lack of communication. “Every day I ask one question: ‘When is my album dropping?’ No answer. Just some bullshit excuse from people I thought were genuine,” he expressed, showing his disappointment in those he once believed in.

Emtee isn’t holding back, voicing his pain and hurt over the lack of transparency. “Instead of playing with me, just be real. I’m hurt by words,” he added in a follow-up tweet.

And in a final piece of shade thrown at his label, he hinted at a breaking point. “If you don’t fvck with me just say it so I can take my talents elsewhere,” he concluded, signaling that he might be ready to part ways with his current team if the situation doesn’t improve soon.

This isn’t the first time Emtee has hinted at the struggles he’s facing with his label. Just months ago, he signed a deal with Empire – an international record label that distributes songs belonging to African stars like Asake and Fireboy. But it seems like the honeymoon period is over, and Emtee is ready to take his talents elsewhere if necessary.

Will Emtee finally drop his delayed album, or will he make good on his threat to take his talents elsewhere? Only time will tell, but one thing’s for sure – Emtee’s had enough of the games, and it’s time for his fans to #StandWithEmtee.
